About the Program
This program has been designed specifically for technicians, electricians, electrical repairmen, maintenance mechanics, and others who wish to acquire a solid understanding of the principles of electricity.
This course provides a fundamental understanding and working knowledge of the practical aspects of industrial electricity. Emphasis is placed on practical applications, and a coordinated laboratory is included to help relate theory to practice and to acquaint participants with modern troubleshooting techniques. Where applicable, provisions of the National Electrical Code will be introduced.
Certificate Requirements
Participants must successfully complete the two courses maintaining at least a "C" average.

Meet the Instructor
Dr. Charles Stricker has an extensive background in engineering and teaching. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University followed by an MBA, Master of Education, and Doctor of Education. He also teaches Mechatronics, Robotics, and Electronics at Berks Career and Technical Center.
